Riverview DGC

Riverview DGC is a short 9-hole course on the Riverview Ministries Conference Center campus in Cedar Falls. The current layout plays just over 1,700 feet, with most holes between roughly 150 and 240 feet, making it one of the quickest and most beginner-friendly courses in the area. The course is mostly open with relatively little elevation, so experienced players will see plenty of ace runs and birdie opportunities. There are a few trees and terrain features to shape shots, but Riverview is much more about simple recreational disc golf than technical line-shaping or distance. The river is visible near the opening holes, although it generally does not come into play. Riverview has grass tees and permanent baskets, and navigation can be a little awkward without UDisc. The course has also undergone some redesign work, so older signs or course information may not perfectly match the current layout. As of 2026, Hole 2 is being played from a temporary location while that redesign is completed. The biggest advantage of Riverview is simply how fast and accessible it is. A full round can be completed very quickly, there is little chance of losing a disc, and the short distances make it a good option for beginners, families, or anyone looking to squeeze in a few holes without committing much time. It isn’t a destination course, but it serves its purpose well: a simple, relaxed nine-hole layout that’s especially convenient if you’re already playing the nearby Tourist Park, Island Park, or Big Woods courses.
