Saint Leo University DGC
San Antonio, Florida
A free 9-hole course spread across the main campus of Saint Leo University in St. Leo, on open, rolling lawns that run down toward Lake Jovita. Students set it up in 2016, and it is open to the public. There are no tee pads or tee signs: you throw from grass tee areas, so pull up the hole map before you start. Hole 1 tees off behind the business building near the pond and plays toward the lake. The nine holes run about 215 to 575 ft (roughly 3,000 ft total, par 29, with par 4s on 5 and 7) to Mach-style chain baskets, mostly wide open with scattered oaks, a little elevation and a shallow pond in play on hole 5. Visitors should come in the main gate, park in a marked Visitor space at University Safety, and pick up a free visitor parking pass. It's an active campus, so watch for students and staff on the walks, and expect the fairway grass to get long in summer. Restrooms are in campus buildings only. No fee.
