Maggie at Spirit of the Suwannee
Live Oak, Florida
An 18-hole wooded course inside the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and campground near Live Oak, starting behind the Country Store. Fairways wind through big live oaks, pines and magnolias on mostly flat ground, so it rewards accurate, shaped shots more than raw distance. This is the White tee layout (par 61, about 5,800 ft) with concrete tees and Mach VII baskets; longer Blue tees stretch it past 7,000 ft. The course sits on private music-park land: entry is $5 per day, which covers park admission and unlimited rounds. During the park's big music festivals the grounds, course included, are open only to ticket holders, so call the park before making the trip. Several holes have white PVC-pipe "relief areas" that play like OB with no penalty stroke, hole 5 has OB beyond the fence on the left, and on hole 9 the piped area on the right is true OB with a drop zone at the bottom of the hill. Restrooms and camping on site; dogs welcome. Sources: https://www.pdga.com/course-directory/course/spirit-suwannee-music-park-maggie · https://www.discgolfscene.com/course/939/spirit-of-the-suwannee
