Whitehall Disc Golf Course Deep

The **Deep 12** is one of the three distinct, 12-hole looping layouts at the **Whitehall Township Disc Golf Course** in Michigan (expanding on the original "Deep 9" loop with three alternate holes). While the Front and Back loops offer more scoring opportunities, the Deep 12 is widely considered the most punishing and mentally taxing stretch of the property: * **Terrain & Layout:** It features mostly flat but heavily wooded terrain set back into a thick pine and oak forest. The fairways are notoriously tight and technical, demanding precise shot-shaping and strict line-hitting. * **The Vibe:** Unlike the faster-paced sections closer to the entrance, the Deep 12 requires a mix of calculated placement and a bit of luck to escape without kicking deep into the rough. Local players often joke that you pick up your birdies on the front, hold on for par on the back, and simply "pray" on the deep loop. * **Distance:** It brings significantly more distance into play than the rest of the course, featuring a couple of daunting 420-foot lines and a grueling, tightly-canopied 650-foot par-3 (Hole D6) that stands as one of the course's ultimate gut-checks.
