Ocala Greenway Disc Golf Course
Ocala, Florida
The Ocala Greenway course is a free 24 hole layout from 2003 on an abandoned barge canal property, now part of a 3,500 acre preserve that the Florida National Scenic Trail runs through along most of the back side. The long pads to the modified long baskets are the main layout, about 9,700 feet at par 82 from concrete tees to Mach III baskets, with the short pads and alternate pins included where mapped. Short Pads to Short Buckets, Short Pads to Modified Long Buckets, and Long Pads to Short Buckets are included as named layouts. It is open dawn to dusk, with two portable toilets at the parking area and no water fountain, so bring plenty of water. Deer, tortoises, snakes, boars and even black bears live in the preserve.
