Mathison Conservation DGC

A Disc Golf Discovery Zone is a beginner-friendly area designed to introduce new players to disc golf in a fun, accessible way. Unlike traditional courses, these zones feature shorter 100' holes, interactive elements, and instructional signage. Each hole is thoughtfully designed to teach specific shot shapes, such as hyzers, anhyzers, and straight shots, helping players develop control and versatility. They're ideal for families, casual players, or anyone looking to practice the basics in a relaxed environment. Expect a low-pressure, welcoming atmosphere perfect for learning and refining your disc golf skills. The Mathison Conservation Area Disc Golf Discovery Zone includes a 4 hole discovery course which will teach players 8 traditional disc golf throws and 4 scramble style shots. There is also a standalone putting station to practice your short game, as well as for group games of 2 to 30 players.
