The Thorne at Pontiac Oak Park
Pontiac, MI
Relatively new course, beautiful scenery and a good mix of open and wooded fairways to challenge your accuracy and ability to control the disc. In my opinion the Signature holes are 9, 12, and 16. 9-starts with a straight fairway that can be played any way you desire, to an uphill approach, surrounded by fun wood features. 12- is a beautiful par five almost forcing you to throw a mid range/putter off of the tee due to the tight, downhill gap, later this hole challenges you ability to thread the needle to get a look at birdie; potentially eagle. 16- this hole leaves nothing to be desired with its ability to allow either forehand or backhand off of the tee to give yourself an Ace look.
