The Arena
West Jordan, UT
The Arena is a 54-acre high desert course at the base of the Oquirrh Mountains in West Jordan. Every hole is named for a Utah native bird! Desert rules: cactus relief is free and mandatory (stack rocks to mark the spot). Red layout has right-of-way on shared holes. Use the drop zone past blue stakes. Come prepared: no water, no restrooms, minimal shade, about a 3-hour round. Parking serves Holes 1 and 3. Designed by Philip Romney The course was state funded with Utah Outdoor Recreation Grant Office funding. West Jordan hired JDS Construction and Phillip Romney to design and install the course. The tee-signs and kiosk were designed by FlyDesign Studio https://www.fly-design-studio.com/
