Steeple Chase
Kyle, Tx
The front 9 are great, the later half of the course simply falls apart due to no upkeep and maintenance. A few of the long tee pads don't exist anymore, some of the baskets were moved and not updated on the signs. A few of the signs are simply missing. I walked this course with a friend that has this as his home course, that was the only way I was able to navigate it. One or two of the tees have you throw through impossible gaps that are overgrown with foliage in the back 9, I would just throw from the shorts for those. Looking past the lack of maintenance this course is really fun, full of challenging and rewarding shot shapes and I still reccomend giving the course a try. Make sure you bring your disc retriever as the river/stream comes into play a LOT!
