MaJiC Nine

The MaJiC Nine is a beginner friendly 9-hole course with elevation changes and technical fairways to challenge more experienced players. The course is designed to provide a fun way to exercise, explore the MACC campus, and introduce new players to the game. Hole 1 starts next to The Clubhouse. Follow the Next Tee signs throughout the course. The MaJiC Nine is named after our school mascot, MaJiC. The name comes from MACC's former name, Moberly Junior College (MJC), with the letters M-J-C highlighted in "MaJiC." It also serves as a nod to Moberly's nickname, The Magic City. Course Notes: • Pedestrians always have the right of way. • Use caution near roads, sidewalks, and buildings. • Watch your step on hills and rocky areas. • No Smoking and No Alcohol allowed on campus. • Please pack out your trash and help keep the course clean. History The MaJiC Nine is a campus recreation project at Moberly Area Community College created to provide a safe, welcoming space for students and the community to learn and enjoy disc golf. The course was designed through a collaborative effort between Eric Dollich, Oren Kirchhoff, Jason Butts, Brandon Bushong and Ryan Ludwick.
