Little Walnut
Silver City, NM
Nestled among towering ponderosa pines at about 6,000 feet in the Gila National Forest, Little Walnut is a scenic, mountain-style 18-hole course just outside Silver City. The relatively short, par-55 layout emphasizes accuracy, shot shaping, and elevation control, with tight wooded fairways, defined gaps, and a fun mix of uphill and downhill shots. Built in 2025 through a collaboration between Aldo Leopold Charter School students and the Silver City Disc Golf Club, it offers a peaceful and technical round in one of the area’s most beautiful settings.
