Burke Lake Park in Fairfax Station has hosted disc golf since 1979, an 18 hole course of short, mostly wooded holes through a busy park, about 4,200 feet at par 54 from concrete and dirt tees to DISCatcher Pro baskets. The Short Tees layout is the main course here, with long tees included as alternates where mapped. The Long Tees, Short to Long, Long to Short, both tees at once, and Challenge 24 layouts are included as named layouts. The course is free, but the park charges non residents a $12 entrance fee on weekends and holidays from April through late October, and weekdays are free for everyone. Restrooms are in the park, which is open sunrise to sunset.
