Amsler Park DGC
McGregor, Texas
Amsler Park squeezes a surprisingly fun layout into a small corner of the park. It’s technically a 9‑basket course played from 18 tees, but the alternate lines change enough that it feels like two unique rounds rather than simple repeats. The front half plays longer and demands more precision, with several tight, wooded fairways. When the creek fills up during rainy stretches, it becomes a factor on multiple holes, though it’s usually shallow enough to retrieve anything that splashes in. The course features excellent tee pads, solid baskets, and useful signage—just stay alert for pedestrians and the occasional duck parade. It’s one of the few genuinely wooded options in the region besides The Beast.
