What's the disc slot you don't use?

Sean· May 9, 2026

There's a disc for everyone and every purpose nowadays, but I can't find a reason to throw a flippy midrange. If I need a right turning shot inside 200' I'll just throw a forehand or an anny with a neutral disc. With about 50-60mph on my throws but a pretty wild nose angle, I find a flippy 5 speed in the canopy of first available too often to rely on it. What disc categories don't make your bag?

I’ve been playing for three years and I’m the same way with my putters because I would much rather throw a zone softly instead of trying to figure out how hard I need to backhand a putter

I dont even throw or bag midrange discs. If I need to throw something a shorter distance I just use my putter or throw my fairway or driver at 50% speed. A torque resistant putter like my bergx can go 250+ ft with a full throw so why bother with extra molds.
