RIP Tower Ridge

#1 Disc Golf Course in CT in 2025, Tower Ridge, is set to close down later this year as the town voted to use the property for solar panels. Such a waste of an absolutely beautiful space that hundreds, if not thousands of people over the course of a year got to enjoy. Truly a beautiful track I’m glad we got to experience before its farewell. My hope is that Radius can help grow disc golf to a point where communities recognize the value it brings and stop viewing it as a lesser use of land. Renewable energy is important, but so are recreation, community, and preserving the spaces that bring people together. Disc golf deserves a place at the table, too.
